Fer is a fertility observation journal for iPhone. Everything you record (period dates and flow, sensation and cervical mucus observations, waking temperatures, interest in intimacy and whether you were intimate, and notes) is stored only on your iPhone. Fer has no account and does not send your journal to the developer or anyone else. Fer has no analytics, advertising, or tracking, and all of its artwork is drawn on the device.
If you choose Connect Apple Health, Fer requests read access to sleeping wrist-temperature samples. These come from Apple Health, including compatible Apple Watch readings. Fer shows them next to your journal, does not copy them into its own database, and does not write to Apple Health. You can manage Fer's Health access in iPhone Settings or the Health app.
If you dictate a note, Fer asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission and requires recognition to run on your iPhone. Fer saves the transcribed text in your journal and never saves or uploads the audio. If on-device recognition is unavailable, you can type instead.
If you turn on daily reminders, Fer asks for notification permission and schedules them on your iPhone. Reminder text never contains cycle dates, signs, or estimates, and no notification token or journal data is sent to a server. Change or turn off reminders in Fer's Settings or in iPhone Settings.
Fer excludes its journal from device backups. Deleting an entry removes it from your iPhone; deleting the app removes its journal. Apple Health data stays managed by Apple Health.
Fer is a recording tool. It shows patterns, not guarantees: it does not give medical advice, confirm ovulation, or identify days as safe for avoiding pregnancy.
